I'm Maggie Clemens, a San Diego Realtor®, Real Estate Wealth Advisor, Navy veteran, real estate investor, and Listing Specialist with Coldwell Banker West. For more than 17 years, I've helped homeowners and families navigate some of life's biggest real estate decisions. Combined with my 25-year career in automotive sales, I bring more than 40 years of negotiation experience to every client I serve.
Long before I became a Realtor, I built my business by earning people's trust. My philosophy was simple: my job wasn't to sell someone a car—it was to help them make the right decision for their needs. I never believed in high-pressure sales, and over time my clients came back again and again because they knew I would always put their interests first.
Many of those same clients later trusted me to help them buy and sell homes. That trust has been one of the greatest blessings of my career and continues to guide how I work with every client today.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that real estate is emotional. Whether you're settling an estate, helping a parent downsize, selling a longtime family home, or deciding what to do with an investment property, there are often difficult decisions to make. My role is to help keep emotions from driving those decisions while making sure you understand your options and stay focused on your long-term goals.
I believe people make better decisions when they have good information. Most homeowners only buy or sell a handful of homes during their lifetime, so it's completely normal not to know what you don't know. My job is to educate you, explain the process in plain English, answer your questions honestly, and help you avoid costly mistakes.
Over the years I've developed expertise in inherited properties, probate sales, trust sales, downsizing, rental property sales, 1031 Exchanges, and helping homeowners understand the financial impact of their real estate decisions. While I work closely with your tax and legal professionals when appropriate, my focus is helping you understand your options so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
Real estate has been an important part of my own life for decades. I purchased my first home in 1986 using my VA loan when mortgage rates were in the high teens. That experience taught me early that real estate is one of the most powerful tools for building long-term wealth when approached with patience, planning, and sound advice.
When I'm not helping clients, you'll often find me on the golf course, spending time with my dogs, or enjoying everything San Diego has to offer.
