Walkway of the Stars

Walkway of the Stars is a walkway that has evolved into an urban park in La Mesa’s downtown area. The park honors volunteers who have served 10,000 or more hours in service to the community. Following the “People Helping People” theme, local artists were commissioned to adorn the walls in the walkway with colorful murals celebrating the spirit of community. The Walkway of the Stars is located between the Allison Avenue municipal parking lot and La Mesa Boulevard. Lamplighters Community Theater

Lamplighters Community Theater has been entertaining La Mesa for 80 years with six season productions per year, as well as special performances and events. Now, the house serves as the home for the La Mesa Historical Society. The house is decorated in furnishings dating from 1908 to 1920, in keeping with its original aesthetic. The La Mesa Historical Society offers free tours of the museum on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

La Mesa Municipal Pool

La Mesa Municipal Pool is a great way to beat the heat with fun in the sun.
